Job Title: RN-Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum Nursery
Shift: (Night) 6pm-6am
Location: Cortez, CO
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum Nursery team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and babies during the labor and delivery process, recovery, postpartum care, and nursery settings. This individual will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor
- Assist with labor and delivery procedures
- Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers
- Care for newborns in the nursery setting
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Document patient assessments and care provided
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BSN or equivalent degree
- License Required - ACLS / BLS / BCLS /PALS / NRP/ TNCC / ENPC / STABLE / AWHONN
- Certification in Labor and Delivery Nursing (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Knowledge of current nursing practices and protocols
